Photos & Video from Nepali New Year 2067 Celebration in Euless by NST

Nepalese Society, Texas (NST) organized an event to celebrate Nepali New Year 2067 in Euless on April 25, 2010. The event that lasted for nine hours from 11am to 8pm saw a huge crowd of Nepalis gathered at the park in Euless and was full of fun activities like volleyball tournament, traditional Nepali dances, songs, poem recitals, musical chairs, tug-of-war and so on.

Photos and Video from Bhagwat Puran Recitation in Irving

Nepali Cultural and Spiritual Center, Texas (NCSC) organized a spiritual discourse program on April 10, 2010 at DFW Hindu temple with Pundit Deen Bandhu Pokhrel speaking about spiritual awareness along with recitation of the Bhagwat Mahapuran.

The event was organized as a fund raiser for construction of Nepali Cultural Center and two temples in DFW Metroplex on the recently bought land by NCSC.

Thanksgiving Celebration in Euless

Euless Nepali Community organized a get-together to mark the occasion of Thanksgiving, with picnic at nearby park on November 26, 2009. The event that lasted for about three hours was participated by approximately 100 people. Tika Paudel brought everybody together and was supported by other members of the community who brought in food and other supplies. Everybody seemed to be enjoying the food and the nice weather. Overall, it was a very successful event and all credit goes to the organizers from Euless viz. Kedar KC, Shiva Adhikari, Tika Paudel, Badri Karki, Basu Shrestha and others.
